The award winning series finally made its appearance on PSX. Langrisser I and II has been released on PSX before and Langrisser IV and V are suppose to be the endings for th series. As Langrisser IV and V storyline are related closely and took place together, release them together is probably the best idea. However Langrisser III was not convert due to poor sale, but one character from Langrisser III did reappear in Langrisser IV and V.

The combat system is improve and so are the graphics as compared to Langrissrer I and II. The graphic seems kind of small in Langrisser IV, but they improved it in Langrisser V. The anime sequence in Langrisser V also make it a big plus from Langrisser IV. The story is as usual quite good for this series, but Langrisser V has a slightly different theme through the introduction of robots. Anyway, the magic and fighting as just as beautiful as ever. In Langrisser IV, there is even multiple storyline in which you can get one ofthe 3 endings.

I have included some of the self discovered cheats and codes before. you will not be able to find them anywhere else on the web. In conlcusion, if you have played Langrisser bfore ,this is definitely for you. If you haven't, then this is a good start. Also be warned that these code can hang you machine. Only activate the code for the character that is present in the current battle. But my advise is this : Only activate the Experience, Attack and Defend will do. For langrisser V, you may want to activate the Llevel up too. Use the build in cheat well, especially the magic which can give you Teleport.

Extra Shopping
In the shop option, press R1 Down L1 Up Square X to access more item.
For the full cheating, press R1 Up Left L1 Up L1 Square X to access all items.

Select Level
When you are in the load game mode, press Square Up R1 Triangle Down Select Circle to select any level you have completed. Press Up and Down toggle level. For full cheating, press Left Square Triangle Select L1 Right R1 Triangle X to select any level including the secret level.

Magic Effect
To cast all bad maggic effect on a unit, highlight unit and press R1 L1 Up Triangle Square X. Do not use this on your own units.

All Magic Spells
Select you unit and at the turn option when you can choose to cast spell, move etc press Select Select X X Square Square X Triangle and you will find that now that character can cast all the spell in the game, including the power blasts from robots. Hints, the most useful one I find is teleport, it's on the 6th menu, 4th spell that cost 8 spell points. Now you can do that teleport effect which you see other character doing all the time in the game.

Restart Game
To restart the game, instead of resetting the set, you can press Start and Select together.

Station Code

This is the second time I use a template. Actually, it just very simple. I give the starting address of the character and you just use the template to modify it's stats. For example, Character 1 starting code is given as 3011856F. To modify it's experience, we use the Modifier +0 0063. what this means is that +0 to the address ( 3011856F + 0 ) and the value is 0063, thereofore we get 3011856F 0063 in code. Don't worry too much, an upcoming FAQ for Gameshark is already in progress and I will soon put it up to explain further.
